Dear Friends,
Time really flies by fast. It seems like New Year was just yesterday, and we’ve already had the big Super Bowl upset victory of the Giants, the Chinese Lunar New Year, and yet another Fed Rate Cut along with the bumpy ride of stock market.
The good ol’ times no more? No worries, SBYB is here to rescue, to remind you all the fun there is when friends gather.
This month, we have a new member David Liu hosting his first happy hour. David is an EECS undergraduate class of 2007 (nube!), and just joined us with a group of friends in December. Thanks guys, Welcome to the SBYB family.
Also, I have the calendar line up for our events this year. I think you will be very pleased on the variety of the events there are. From community outreach, sports, to cultures (and did I mention happy hour?), there is something for everyone. There are still few Happy Hour slots open for sign up, please let me know which month you are interested or you would like to switch to another month.
Final note, in effort to connect with alumni from other school in the Bay Area, please let me know if you know an alumni group member/officer, I will be gladly to coordinate a joint happy hour. Finally, feel free to bring an extra friend/family member to any of our event!
